The City of San Mateo (City) is issuing this Request for Qualifications / Request for Proposal (RFQ/RFP) for the purpose of obtaining comprehensive evaluations (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and water intrusion) and developing a complete Facilities Condition Assessment document (FCA) for the City-owned facilities listed in Exhibit A. Besides physical evaluations, the City is seeking corrective recommendations, budget estimates for the recommendations, and individual estimated timelines for the completion of the corrective work. The City will also request the selected consulting firm to develop criteria for a weighted scoring priority methodology that can be applied to each facility. This will help guide City staff with the scheduling of recommended repairs and will provide an objective approach for selecting the projects that will receive funding before others. The City of San Mateo will contract with the firm or partnering firms that can provide the required services for this specific scope of work.
