Site work and paving for a civil project in Utica, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project contemplated consists of storm damage repair to a water main across West Canada Creek and to the berm along MVWA's decant lagoon. Repair includes restoration of creek beds to be pre storm levels, re-encasement of a water main in concrete, constructing a berm providing adequate holding volume while maintaining an overflow path, and restoration of rights-of-way where necessary. Restoration involves the use of medium stone fill, extra heavy stone fill, native fill, grouted rip rap, and concrete encasement. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance prescribed in the Bidding Documents. The Work shall be substantially completed on or before November 30, 2024, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or December 31, 2024. The owner's right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents.
