The project scope for the Base Bid and Alternate Bids includes but is not limited to: South Broadway Street Improvements. Bids are invited for work generally described as follows: Improvements to debilitated roadway pavement on South Broadway beginning at US Highway 90 West and proceeding southward approximately 5,200'. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of China or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas General Land Office - Community Development & Revitalization and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
