This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies and insurance, etc. necessary to remove and replace the existing roof and provide a new roofing system located at the Broadneck NRP at 1070 East College Parkway, Annapolis, Maryland 21409, in Anne Arundel County Maryland This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies and insurance, etc. necessary to remove and replace the existing EPDM flat roof(s) located at the Broadneck NRP at 1070 East College Parkway Annapolis, Maryland 21409, in Anne Arundel County Maryland. Remove and properly dispose of the existing flat EPDM roofs at 1070 East College Park Parkway (approximately 4,542 SF) and 1072 East College Park Parkway (approximately 5,494 SF), insulation, etc., down to the bare roof Install roof insulation, coverboard and EPDM roofing, approximately 10,036 SF total. If the State of Maryland or other regulatory body requires a license or certificate to perform the services required, please provide the copy of license number and date of issuance in submission with other required documentation. A copy must be mailed or faxed. The Contractor agrees that the price will be firm for a time period of thirty (30) calendar days from the bid opening date to execution of the contract by the State. The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $150.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions". Questions due by January 27, 2025 by 4pm. Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bonds are required when the amount of the contract award, including base bid, unit prices and any alternates awarded, is more than $100,000.00. i) The proposed project shall include but is not limited to the following: (a) Remove and properly dispose of the existing flat EPDM roofs at 1070 East College Park Parkway (approximately 4,542 SF) and 1072 East College Park Parkway (approximately 5,494 SF), insulation, etc., down to the bare roof. (b) Remove existing drip edge in its entirety, approximately 580 LF. (c) Inspect roof deck and replace - with the equivalent - any deteriorated materials as directed by the DNR Project Manager on a unit price basis. (See Unit Price #1). (d) Inspect existing roof drains and replace - with the equivalent - any deteriorated materials as directed by the DNR Project Manager on a unit price basis (See Unit Price #2). (e) Existing roofs vent to be kept and protected during demolition. (f) Maintain all existing mounted equipment. This includes but is not limited to, antennas and/or radio equipment. (g) Install roof insulation, coverboard and EPDM roofing, approximately 10,036 SF total. (h) Install drip edge, approximately 580 LF. (i) Restore the site to a pre-construction condition to include debris removal. (j) Inspect roof drains and replace - with the equivalent - any deteriorated items as directed by field conditions and the DNR Project Manager on a unit price basis (See UNIT PRICE #2)
