Therefore, all bidders are required to submit bids based on Prevailing Wage. Failure to provide a complete bid amount may result in a rejection of your bid as not responsive. It is the intent of AACPS to actively participate in the achievement of the MBE participation requirement contained herein. The contractor or suppliers who provide materials, supplies, equipment, and/or services for this project shall attempt to achieve a minimum percent AS NOTED BELOW of the total dollar value, with a minimum of 0 percent from certified African American-owned businesses, and 0 percent from certified Women-owned businesses, and the balance from all certified minority business is directly or indirectly, from Maryland Department of Transportation certified Minority Business Enterprises and the balance from all certified minority business enterprises. All general contractors and subcontractors including certified MBE firms, when bidding as general or prime contractors, are required to attempt to achieve the MBE subcontracting goals from certified MBE firms approved by the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)." The site for the new CAT North will be on the 172-acre site currently occupied by the Old Mill MS/HS complex and Rippling Woods ES. The project will be designed to accommodate the phased demolition and eventual site restoration of the Old Mill complex as AACPS continues to implement its district masterplan in replacing Old Mill Middle School South, Old Mill Middle School North and Old Mill High School in sequence. D. The project is a proposed approximately 175,000 GSF educational facility with capacity for approximately 640 students. The building layout is a modified "C" shape and will be divided into the following main wings: 1. A primarily one-story Transportation Technology wing will be located at the northeast end to the building.
