Site work and paving for a civil project in Hays, Kansas. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of the mentioned improvements and estimated quantities throughout the City of Hays: Widening of the 13th Street corridor between Anthony Drive and Commerce Parkway. It will also consist of the construction of right turn lanes in front of the high school, storm structure modifications, traffic signal modifications at 13th and Canterbury and restriping, and other related work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Hays, Kansas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Any bidder to whom a contract is awarded in excess of $100,000.00 will be required to furnish a Contract Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specific forms and acceptable to the City of Hays, Kansas, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount Bid. City of Hays reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids/proposals, to waive any irregularities in such bids/proposals, and to accept such bids/proposals that are the most responsive and best suits the City of Hays. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45 (forty-five) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of the City of Hays, Kansas.
