The Navajo Division of Transportation (Navajo DOT) is soliciting proposals to construct "N6461(1-2)/N6460(1)1,2&4 Road Improvement Project in Dennehotso, AZ". The proposed work consists of grading and drainage; a Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil-Integrated Bridge System (GRS-IBS) bridge; placement of aggregate base course and hot asphalt pavement; box culvert construction; installation of drainage structures, gabion wall, cattleguard, signs, striping, guardrail, and waterline relocations; and other miscellaneous work as called for in the design plans and specifications for this 5.72 mile roadway project located in Dennehotso, AZ, Apache County, Navajo Nation. The Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act and Navajo Preference Act shall apply to this project. Prospective bidders are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these provisions. Having preference does not guarantee the award of the project. Competitive Sealed Proposals under the Navajo Nation Business Opportunity Act shall be utilized in the selection of the Contractor.
