The request for information deadline is 2 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024. Install approximately 410' of 6' high, 2" x 9 gauge, all black, vinyl chain link fence to extend new fence line along the perimeter of the rear parking area. All terminal posts will be 2 1/2 " OD sch 40 pipe, all line posts will be 2" OD sch 40 pipe and all top rail will be 1 5/8" pipe. All posts will be set in concrete footings. The City will level the ground and remove the old guard rail, before installation. All fences will be installed with 6' high black PVC privacy slats in the fence with top locking strips (see photos included in bid documents). The City of West Haven (here after referred to as, "the City") is soliciting an Invitation to Bid, to qualified vendors, for the installation of a chain link fence at the West Haven Public Boat Ramp located between Monahan Place and First Avenue in West Haven, CT. This project is ARPA funded. All proposals will be opened publicly at that time. Respondents are required to submit one (1) original with two (2) copies of their proposal, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "ITB# 2024-13 Boat Ramp Perimeter Fence". Proposals received after the scheduled due date and time shall not be accepted or considered, they will be rejected. No oral, telephonic, emailed, or faxed responses shall be considered. No oral, telephonic, emailed, or faxed corrections, deletions, or additions to any response shall be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive deficiencies in any received proposals, if it determines, in the City's sole opinion, that doing so is in the best interest of the City.
