Question Deadline 09/03/2024 at 12:00 PM ET This project involves the removal and replacement of existing decking and handrails, as well as the repair and reinforcement of the underlying structures to bring them up to current code standards using pressure treated UC48 Heavy Retention (Saltwater Splash) target retention level .31 material and stainless-steel hardware with ADA handrails on both sides of walkway on each bridge. Bridges – located on the Boardwalk between Altschuler Blvd and Oak Street beach parking lots. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: The removal of the existing decking and handrails from both pedestrian bridges, repair and reinforce the framing of both bridges as necessary to bring the structures up to code. Ensure all work complies with the relevant safety and building codes. Install new decking, railings, handrails, using pressured treated materials heavy retention (saltwater) and stainless-steel hardware. The removal of all debris from the sit after the completion of the project. Secure the area during construction to ensure public safety.
