As of May 22, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The Town of Wilbraham invites qualified firms to submit written sealed bids for the construction of six (6) Pickle Ball courts to include earthwork, court surfacing, netting, lighting bases (not including wiring for lighting equipment), fencing, utility conduits, and associated site improvements as described herein. The location of the courts is on a Town-owned property known as Memorial School, located at 310 Main Street. Minimum wage rates have been set. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be 100% of the Contract Amount. The Wilbraham Recreation Commission shall be the Awarding Authority. The Town reserves the right to waive any informalities and/or reject any or all proposals if, in the Town's sole discretion, it is in the public interest to do so. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the actual date of bid opening. Attention is called to the minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27G, inclusive.
