SCOPE OF WORK The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all materials and equipment and to perform all labor necessary to modify the existing Augusta Road Water Treatment Plant as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein, including, but not limited to, rehabilitation and improvements to flocculation basins and sedimentation basins, modifications to the existing clearwell to include a new diffused aeration system and finished water circulation spray system; replacement of six chemical feed systems and some chemical piping; and electrical improvements and repairs throughout the plant. Work also includes mobilization/demobilization, bonds, insurance, electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, mechanical, piping, valves, coatings, HVAC, soil erosion & sediment control, and all other work and appurtenances necessary for completion of the work as shown on the Drawings and as specified in the Contract Documents. Time allotted for completion of work is 420 calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.
