Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Education, Independent School District No. 625, Saint Paul Public Schools, will receive electronic bids for: Dock Doors Lintels and Brick Replacement Education and Operations Services (EOS) 1930 Como Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55108 Project # 4000-23-01 Bid # 24-4503. Saint Paul Public Schools makes Announcements of Bidding in the following locations: 1. The St. Paul Legal Ledger 2. The Saint Paul Public Schools In the event that regular daytime classes have been canceled at the time Bids are scheduled to be received, Bids will be received on the next business day at the same time. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount (in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check) is required for bids totaling $175,000 or more. Electronically submitted bids require a copy of the bid security to accompany submission. Original cashier's check bid security must be delivered within three (3) business days of bid opening or postmarked on or before bid opening date. 11 dock bays at the SPPS Education and Operations Services building have rusted out lintels that need to be replaced. In addition to structural work, this project is expected to include brick repair/replacement and some electrical work. If delivery of the documents is requested, charges shall be paid by the Bidder directly to the Printer. The Owner will provide One PDF set of documents to the successful bidder(s) if requested. Additional sets may be purchased by the Contractor. Direct any communications to SPPS via the District's e-submission platform (GETALL) no later than the time and date on the Invitation For Bid form Prospective bidders will be required to sign-in and sign-out on the attendance form and a list of the prospective bidders will be included in an Addendum. Only those organizations listed in the addendum are eligible to submit a bid. The Owner intends to recommend award of Contract on May 21, 2024. SPPS Purchasing will send Contract to bidder after BOE award and processing is completed. Project Kick-off Meeting As coordinated in May/June 2024 Phase 1 (see G001 & G002) Start Date 06-10-2024 Substantial Completion 08-16-2024 Phase 2 (see G001 & G002) Start Date 08-19-2024 Substantial Completion 10-18-2024 Phase 3 (see G001 & G002) Start Date 06-10-2025 Substantial Completion 7-18-2025 Phase 4 (see G001 & G002) Start Date 07-21-2025 Substantial Completion 08-29-2025 Questions and requests for clarifications should be presented in writing via electronically, no later than 04/19/2024 at 2 p.m. All responses to questions and requests for clarifications will be done in the form of addenda to be posted no later than 04/23/2024. Addendum #1-#2 have been issued as of 4-23-2024.
