Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A building addition at Main Street includes removing a section of wall and expanding the existing building enclosure on the entry level of the Convention Center to create a flexible event space. This space includes ceilings, interior finishes, HVAC units, ductwork, mechanical systems, plumbing systems electrical systems and site restoration. Also, restrooms will be created by converting existing interior storage at the southwest end of the entry level. Additionally, repairs to the building envelope will include subsurface structural repairs, waterproofing, and metal panel replacement in select areas. Alternates include additional building envelope repairs including granite masonry repairs, soffit repairs, doors replacement, construction of a new landscape planter facing Main Street, accessibility improvements to the existing south terrace, metal panel joint replacement on all sides of the building, and concrete stair replacement on the south side of the facility. This is a Multiple Prime LUMP SUM contract (General Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical) including Base Bid and Add-Alternates GC-1 thru GC-6 and EC-1 thru EC-2. Location: Monroe County, 123 East Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604 This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements, NY State MWBE Goals, Workforce Goals, and NY State Wicks Law Requirements This Project Contains New York State Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) and Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOB) participation requirements. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Contract term: Four-hundred twenty-five (425) calendar days from Notice to Proceed
