Reference Number 0000348834 Type of Contract: DEMOLITION. This demolition package contains thirty-three (33) structures. All thirty-three (33) structures are presumed to have asbestos-containing materials in them, and shall be demolished as a controlled demolition with asbestos in place, under the NYS Industrial Code Rule 56 requirements for "Controlled Demolition with Asbestos in Place." Demolition of these structures is a high priority, public safety matter, the City seeks to have the demolitions start immediately upon award of the contract(s) and have as many of the structures as possible completely demolished and cleared no later than July 31, 2024. For this reason, the City reserves the right to award multiple contracts based on the capacity of each bidder to complete structures awarded on or before July 31, 2024.
