Site work for a water / sewer project in Maple Valley, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work on this project consists of installation of interim and final cover systems over Refuse Area 8 and the excavation of Area 9. The work includes but is not limited to erosion and sediment controls, stripping and subgrade preparation, installation of interim and final cover systems consisting of cover soil, geomembrane and other materials, drainage, installation of landfill gas system components, vertical wells, conveyance piping, storm water ditches, and a contaminated storm water flap, excavation, and stockpile removal. Master Community Workforce Agreement (MCWA): King County reviewed this Project and determined that a MCWA will apply, due to the nature of the work and the estimated labor costs. See Section 00 73 00. Priority Hire Apprentice Utilization Requirement: 27% of the total Apprentice Labor Hours worked during the contract. Priority Hire Journey Level Requirement: 18% of the total Journey Labor Hours worked during the contract. Bid Guaranty: Not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price.
