The Work shall be completed within 45 working days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The Work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for: The project will install safety improvements along roadway segments located throughout the City. These safety improvements included installation of 8" profiled plastic edge striping, reflective raised pavement, markers (RPM), OM2 retroreflective signage in front of utility poles, retroreflective sign post panels on existing regulatory and warning signs. The work includes the following: o Pavement marking installation o New sign installation o Sign and/or post removal, relocation, or replacement per plans This project is a Federal-aid project (Federal Aid. No. HSIP0005(596)) with Seventeen Percent (17%) mandatory DBE goal and training goal of Zero hours. The estimated cost of this project is m the range of $300,000 to $360,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such, bid proposal, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Maple Valley.
