Site work and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Maple Valley, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The Work Shall Consist of Furnishing All Materials, Equipment, Tools, Labor, and Other Work or Items Incidental Thereto for the Project Will Install Safe-ty Improvements Along Roadway Segments Located Throughout the City. These Safety Improvements Include the Installation and/or Replacement of Existing Stop and Speed Limit Signage With Solar Powered Perimeter Flashing Led Warning Light Signs, and Installation of Radar Speed Feedback Signs. All Signage Work Will Occur With-in Existing Right-of-way. the Work Includes the Following: Pavement marking installation New sign installation Sign and/or post removal, relocation, or replacement per plans This project is Federally funded, the Federal Aid number is HSIP-000S(660). The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) man-datory goal for this project is 6%. There is no Training hours goal on this project. The estimated cost of this project is in the range of $250,000 to $300,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid proposal, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Contract Documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Maple Valley. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid or in the bidding process, and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
