Utility potholing via vacuum extraction at 340 properties for purposes of determining material types on the house and street sides of the existing curb stops for a random sampling of water services throughout the City of Ionia Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by local water system funds. Document Notes: Specifications are available online at www.preinnewhof.com/plan-room or at the Grand Rapids office of Prein&Newhof. Electronic specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications, electronic or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof. Hard copy specifications are available for the fee of $43.50 dollars. A $15 dollar charge will be added to all mailed specifications. Fees are payable by cash or check only and are not refunded. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Ionia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of Sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids.
