As of May 15, 2024 project was awarded to Asphalt Paving & Supply, Inc., awarded amount is $1,598,698.98. The Work included in this Project consists of reconstructing N Road 1 East between Juniper Dr and Perkinsville Rd with 4 AC over 9 ABC. The Town is issuing this IFB to secure a qualified Engineering Contracting (Commercial) Class A Licensed Contractor to perform the Work and provide Materials as more particularly described in the Specifications attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference. Bidders must submit Bids encompassing the entire Project, inclusive of the related Plans, Specifications, related construction drawings and Reference Documents, if any. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the Bid is non-responsive. Final Inquiries Due: Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 5:00 pm Construction work, in general, consists of the street reconstruction of N Road 1 East between Juniper Dr and Perkinsville Rd with 4" AC over 9" ABC. Work on the project must commence no sooner than May 22, 2024, and must be completed no later than August 4, 2024, as this project is adjacent to Territorial Early Childhood Center. All bidders desiring to prepare a responsive bid shall submit a non-revocable bid security payable to the Town in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price per the contract documents. Any bid received after the time specified will be returned unopened. It is the bidder's responsibility to assure proposals are received at the above location on or before the specified time. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in a bid or to withhold the award for any reason the Town determines.
