This project expands the non-potable water system to increase recycled water use in the City from advanced treated recycled water produced by the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Project and Santa Monica Urban Runoff Recycling Facility. This budget will allow approximately 1,000 LF per year of recycled water mains in the City to increase recycled water use and decrease potable water demand. This project is included in the City of Santa Monica's 2025-2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 31, 2025, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Funding is anticipated from 2025 to 2029.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
