This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kitchener (the City) to prospective Contractors to submit non-binding quotations for Trail Improvements, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). The City is looking to partner with a qualified contractor for the enhancement of City Trails at various locations. The work includes the removal of stonedust granular or asphalt and replacing with 3 metre wide asphalt on trails. Enhancing trail entrances with proper access which include concrete aprons, tactile warning plates. Removal of concrete walkways and upgrading with 3 metre wide asphalt trails. This work also included new concrete ramps to improve trails access for maintenance vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians.
