**As of June 07, 2024, This project has been awarded to Ohmshiv Construction, LLC, with the awarded amount of $1,957,093.50.** The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows: Construction consisting of but is not limited to grading, curb & gutter, concrete sidewalks, concrete retaining walls, and traffic signal. The Owner of the project is the City of Holly Springs. The Engineer for the project is BM&K Construction & Engineering. The extent of this project is approximately from Fox Creek Drive to Seth Ridge Drive on Holly Springs Pkwy. The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 270 consecutive days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Nonrefundable liquidated damages in the amount of $1500 per calendar day will be deducted from monies due the Contractor if a portion of the work remains incomplete beyond the agreed upon contract completion date. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount, with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. The terms and time for payment are set forth in the Agreement. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the day of the Bid opening, but OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. All work performed for this project shall be in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges, 2021 Edition, or current edition and attached modifications and special provisions.
