Upper River Road Culvert/Bridge Repair. This contract is being funded by grants from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Economic Development and Community Development Initiatives Program and is subject to Department approval, along with the Gaming Economic Development and Tourism Fund (GEDTF) Grant Program. Bidders for this contract shall be qualified to meet all requirements of the grant contract applicable to the project and bidders shall have completed projects similar in character and scope and will be required to provide to Council, with their Bid, a Qualifications Statement for the prime contractor and all subcontractors. Council reserves the right to reject all bids or parts thereof, to limit the scope of the work involved, and to determine whether the quality and type of equipment and/or service to be furnished meets the requirements for which it is intended. Council further reserves the right to insist or waive any technicalities required for the best interest of the borough and to consider competency and responsibility of the bidder before the award of the contract and award bids accordingly. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Borough of Haysville requests sealed bids for the Upper River Road Culvert/Bridge Repair and Slope Stabilization project (Work Area 1 and Work Area 2, respectively) in accordance with the terms and specifications hereinafter specified.
