Solicitation is for subsurface prep, grading, paving, topsoil and seeding in an area around the 2nd Street Jail at 264 Second St. in Pittsfield MA 01201. Paving includes 2" base coat, tack coat and 2" topcoat. Paving shall meet all existing asphalt and key in for transitions. Estimated Cost $42,000 Please breakdown labor and material costs separately. 50% Payment Bond needed if over $25,000. Deadline for project completion is 6/30/24 . This is a prevailing wage project. WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT A. The project work consists of a renovation of our existing asphalt surfaces and depleted curbing. This is a chapter 30-39 project and shall be bid with the specifications laid forth. The grounds shall be repaired so as to meet all requirements of the Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the plans and specifications for Massachusetts State Project Name and Location for Berkshire County Sheriff s Office. B. General Project Information : The Project is located to the behind the garage. Paving shall smoothly transition into where exiting paving meets and seal. C. The work will include all operations necessary to deliver the building(s) and ancillary on and off site amenities in a fully installed and operable condition including all utility and site work and obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates. Where utilities exist within and adjacent to the building(s) and ancillary parking lots, and are known by the Owner, they have been shown on the site plan(s) appearing in, but not restricted to, the exhibits. Connections to these existing utility lines will be the responsibility of theContractor. D. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Photos and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Construction of a new paved areas include, but are not limited to: a. Exterior facade. b. Masonry and concrete work. c. Sitework and utilities work.
