Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Acton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project shall include: construction of a new PFAS treatment building including the installation of a granular activated carbon (GAC) pressure vessel system and variable frequency drives (VFDs) procured under a separate contract, installation of GAC media, interior process piping, site piping, ancillary equipment and controls, and the construction, development, and performance testing of two bedrock wells, submersible pumps, motors, pitless adapters, and associated electrical and instrumentation work. The work shall also include all site restoration and miscellaneous work and cleanup necessary to provide a complete and fully operational water treatment plant following the upgrades. Masonry, Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron, Roofing & Flashing, Painting, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating & Air Conditioning, & Electrical.
