Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Carlinville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

During the performance of this contract, the Contract shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race color, creed, national origin, gender, age or any other basis in violation of any applicable law, rule, regulation or ordinance, and shall otherwise perform in accordance with all such laws, rules, regulations and ordinances. Questions for this Project shall be directed to the Architect: Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid, made payable to Macoupin County. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by duly authorized company acceptable to Owner. Macoupin County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for Sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
