The City of Spartanburg is seeking proposals from vendors to provide services for the Airport Fuel Farm Pedestrian Access Platforms Project at the Spartanburg Downtown Airport in the City of Spartanburg. Contractor to design, fabricate, permit & install a stainless or aluminum safety catwalk for an existing aviation fuel farm above ground tanks. The materials must be corrosive-resistant & designed to meet or exceed OSHA, or any other State of Federal guidelines for the safety of workers & for structural integrity. The City of Spartanburg reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the qualifications process. Proposals may be held by the City of Spartanburg for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Proposals for the purpose of reviewing the Proposals and investigating the qualifications of prospective parties, prior to awarding of the Contract. The vendor that is awarded the proposal will be required to obtain a "City of Spartanburg Business License and Permits". Vendors must have the insurance requirements described in the bid documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Bank Cashier's Check payable to the Owner for five (5) percent of the total amount of the Bid. Please seal your bid bond or Cashier's Check in a separate envelope titled BID BOND along with a business card to be opened first.
