Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a residential development in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
The City of Spartanburg is seeking Proposals from Licensed General Contractors or South Carolina Home Builders who are also Licensed and Certified Lead Remediation Contractors for the abatement work or use of Interim controls for a house located at 329 E Park Avenue , Spartanburg, SC. Abatement or Encapsulate Lead Based Paint Residential Structure East Park Section One: Lead Safe Healthy Homes Spartanburg lead remediation work Section Two: Healthy Homes related work An outline of the project items includes but not limited to new double pane insulated replacement windows for approximately (11) eleven window locations, vinyl siding and wrapping of all window frames and areas that are unable to be sided, demo and tear-off of entire front porch and back laundry room area, remove current roof and reroof entire area, exterior painting especially of all window frames as needed, and all other construction items listed in the RFP. All work done on this house will be held to HUD Lead Remediation Protocol and Policies and Standards and local Building Code.
