This work consists of constructing, installing, maintaining, and removing if required, temporary and permanent erosion control measures during the life of the Contract to prevent or minimize erosion, sedimentation, and pollution of any state waters as defined in subsection 107.25, including wetlands. The Contractor shall stabilize excess areas of exposed earth, and shall coordinate temporary erosion control measures with the permanent erosion control measures to assure economical, effective, and continuous erosion control throughout the construction period. Stabilize, as used herein, means to cover disturbed areas with mulch, temporary seed and mulch, permanent seed, or by the use of other soil stabilization techniques.
