As of June 25, 2024, project was awarded to Farney Tree & Excavation LLC, with an awarded amount of $317,341.88 3-36-0092-0XX-2024 Bids submitted by FedEx, UPS, or other parcel delivery service shall have the SEALED envelope containing the Bid Proposal placed inside the shipping carton. The City of Oneonta does not accept faxed or emailed bids. Per the project title above, the project includes removal of obstructions on airport property at the Runway 6 and Runway 24 end. Obstruction removal items include clearing, clearing in wetlands, and tree topping at the specified elevations. Also included in the project is the installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary erosion control measures. The project has a Base Bid portion consisting of all obstruction removal items at the Runway 6 end and an Add Alternate that includes all obstruction removal items at the Runway 24 end. From the time of advertising until the actual bid opening for this Contract, all prospective Bidders, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Suppliers shall direct all inquiries related to this project solely to Turner Bradford, PE, Project Manager, McFarland Johnson, Inc., tbradford@mjinc.com. The deadline for submitting inquiries related to this project is April 21, 2024.
