Plans call for the construction of a new 3,080 SF Terminal Building for Skylark Field Airport (ILE) including public use and airport employee use areas, parking lot, access road and gates, dumpster collection, utility installation, and apron paving. The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Alteration of work and quantities. The Owner reserves the right to make such changes in quantities and work as may be necessary or desirable to complete, in a satisfactory manner, the original intended work. Unless otherwise specified in the Contract, the Owners Engineer or RPR shall be and is hereby authorized to make, in writing, such in-scope alterations in the work and variation of quantities as may be necessary to complete the work, provided such action does not represent a significant change in the character of the work and the Owners Engineer or RPR has provided formal documentation approved by the Owner and Contractor for such in-scope alterations. Bid questions will be accepted on the OpenGov e-bidding site, until 5:00 p.m. on June, 13 th , 2024. Questions will be answered in the form of an addendum and posted on the OpenGov website.
