This item shall consist of overlaying existing street surfaces with asphaltic concrete pavement. The work shall include furnishing and installing cross drains, side drains and associated structures, aligning and cleaning existing ditches, widening ofstreet base course, repairing base failures, installing fabric ifrequired by the Special Provisions and overlay with asphaltic concrete pavement. References made herein io the DOTD STANDARDS shall be understood to mean the State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development. ''Louisiana Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges", latest revision. Project: Jackson Parish 2024 Road Program Contract Ii - Surface Treatment Project A Certified Check Payable to the Jackson Parish Police Jury or a Bid Bond, the Amount of Either of Which Shall Be Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Bid. Bidders Are Advised That Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, Will Be Required. Contract Time: 60 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: $600.00 Per Calendar Day The Jackson Parish Police Jury Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals for Just Cause.
