Site work for a civil project in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

BACKGROUND DDOT installed two Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) on District Freeway I-295 one each at northbound and southbound directions back in year 2000. The two signs have reached their life expectancy period and are no longer functional. DDOT seeks a Contractor to replace the two signs, which are used primarily for emergencies and special events. The overhead structure and the foundation for the two signs are in good shape. Only the signs and all the electronic components included in the systems need to be removed and replaced. The Government of the District of Columbia (District), Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), on behalf of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) seeks a Contractor to remove and replace two (2) Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) on freeway I-295. 22% (DBE goal) Please email any questions to the Contract Specialist and copy Contracting Officer. Questions are due no later than Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 2:00 PM EST. A. Substantial Completion Date. Unless the Contract specifies a different time, Substantial Completion is 30 Calendar Days before Final Acceptance. B. Final Acceptance Date. The Final Acceptance Date is 6 months (or 183 calendar days) from the date of contract award.
