Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Richmond, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This invitation is for the installation of an ADA compliant walkway and handrail system as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky University's Richmond Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete installation including all items as indicated throughout the event specifications. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. Point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Eastern Kentucky University reserves the right to award in part or in whole and to award multiple suppliers/contracts if in the best interest of the university. This addendum is being issued to update the project scope with the following additional information: 1. The width between the handrails to be installed through the center of the "Ravine" area will be 6ft. 2. The width of the walkway which will travel from the "Jones Lot" to the stage ramp area must be a minimum of 5ft. 3. This project will require the installation of two (2) sets of ADA compliant handrails alongside both ramps which should mount from the ground. 4. The concrete pad at the front of the stage area must be poured to meet the first row of seating. Offeror must acknowledge receipt of this and any additional addenda as part of the bid requirements in the Jaggaer system
