Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Southaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The total Contract Time will be 180 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $500.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids are for the installation of approximately 2120 LF of drainage pipe, 7 drainage inlets, and 9 new junction boxes in Carriage Hills Estates. In addition, repairs will include curb and gutter removed and replaced, asphalt removed and replaced, fence repairs, grassing, and erosion control. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. The City is utilizing Federal assistance for the construction of the project and is subject to U.S. Treasury's regulations governing ARPA, and all applicable terms and conditions in 2 C.F.R. Part 200; Bidders are hereby responsible for adhering to all applicable Federal Laws. The City of Southaven reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any information and irregularities therein, solicit new bids, award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
