Lombard Ave. Sewer Improvement Project. Scope of Work Remove & Replace 867 feet of 8" sanitary sewer, 155 feet of storm sewer, replace street surface (290 tons of AC), and misc. work Liquidated Damages A. Contractor and Owner recognize that time is of the essence as stated in Paragraph 4.01 above and that Owner will suffer financial and other losses if the Work is not completed and Milestones not achieved within the Contract Times, as duly modified. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. The Work will be substantially complete on or before October 15, 2024 and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before November 1, 2024. All Bidders must be equal opportunity employers and comply with the appropriate provisions of state and federal law, and registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board. The Project includes the following Work per proposal: Removal and replacement of 867 feet of 8" sanitary sewer, including service laterals, replace 155 feet of storm drain, prepare and pave back trench with 290 tons of Level 2 HMAC. Bids are requested for the following Contract: M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process. The Contractor and all subcontractors on the project shall pay at least the state prevailing rate of wage as determined under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range is $350,000 - $400,000.*
