The City of Pittsburgh's Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Public Works (DPW), is soliciting pre-qualified bids for the planting of trees at the Heron Hill Pump House Station in the neighborhood of North Oakland & delivery of trees, under the current Pre-Qualified List for Tree Planting, #53975. Heron Hill Pump House Tree Plantings and Tree Delivery There are 2 items involved with this solicitation. TREE PLANTING: At The Heron Hill Pump House Station (located at 4501 Centre Avenue in North Oakland). Trees will be planted at the facility along Dollar Street and in front of building on 4501 Center Ave side. All trees must come balled and burlapped (B&B) 3 Okame Cherry Prunus 2-inch caliper B&B 3 Pink Dogwood Kousa 2-inch caliper B&B The Contractor is responsible for/ will provide tree delivery, installation, staking, bracing, soil, and mulching for 6 trees. All work shall be done in accordance with contract specifications. This location recently received historical designation from the Historical Review Commission.
