Reference Number 0000349156 The Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District (Northern Water) is requesting proposals from qualified landscape contractors (Contractors) for the installation of five, new, low-water landscape demonstration gardens to be added to Northern Water's Conservation Gardens located at our office headquarters at 220 Water Ave, Berthoud, CO 80513. The work will generally consist of the installation of new garden demonstrations totaling approximately 4,000 square feet. The new demonstrations will include grade changes, edging work, construction of a stone retaining wall, laying organic and inorganic mulch, as well as the installation of a large number of plants and boulders. The new, low-water landscape demonstration garden types to be installed are: 1) Median Demonstration 2) Shaded Street Strip Demonstration, 3) Sloped Demonstration, 4) Low Maintenance Garden Demonstration and 5) Prairie/Ecosystem Garden Demonstration. The selected Contractor and all Subcontractors will be expected to coordinate with an Irrigation Contractor and Northern Water Team.
