The Contract resulting from this solicitation shall commence effective upon execution by both parties and extend for a period of twelve (12) months. The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods, totaling thirty-six (36) months. The County may allow a price escalation provision within this award. The original contract prices shall be firm for an initial one (1) year period. A price escalation/de-escalation will be considered at one (1) year intervals thereafter, provided the Contractor notifies the County, in writing, of the pending price escalation/de-escalation a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to the effective date A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond are a requirement when the offer/contract amount exceeds $100,000. Respondents shall attach an electronic copy of their bid bond for responsiveness. Submission of the bid bond, along with a certified and effectively dated copy of the power of attorney, shall be completed and signed by all required parties and submitted on the form provided in the solicitation. Submittal of a bid bond less than 10% of the total estimated contract amount for base period, shall result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.
