Remodeling of a water / sewer project in Idalou, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a wastewater treatment plant.
The construction of a new 100,000 gallon elevated storage tank along with all appurtenances as shown on the plans. The project also includes the demolition of the existing witch hat elevated The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the design, fabrication, construction, painting, disinfection and testing of an elevated, welded carbon steel water storage tank supported by a steel support pedestal, commonly referred to as a Pedesphere. Design and construction of the Elevated Tank shall conform to all requirements of AWWA D100 Standard for Welded Carbon Steel Tanks for Water Storage, except as modified by the requirements of these contract documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
