Renovation of an educational facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of Work. Electrical work includes, but is not limited to, updating power drops and lighting in Rooms 72, 78, 83, 86, 87, 88, 89, and 90 in the Armory and removing all existing light fixtures, conduit, and wiring in those rooms. New light fixture layout requires additional fixtures per row; so new (or revised) conduit and wiring is required in all areas updated. Installation of new conduit and wiring in Rooms 87, 88, 89 & 90, including 0-10V wires in Rooms 89 & 90. Installation of new conduit and wiring in Rooms 72, 78, 83 & 86; use circuits as constructed between those rooms. Installation of new 20-amp power drops for tables in Room 89 & 90 over each of the existing TV displays. Installation of a 0-10V dimmer on the south wall for lights in Room 89 & 90, and installation of power drops and new cord reels tied to the lighting circuits for center tables in Rooms 72, 78, 83, 86, 87 & 88. Reuse existing electrical cable and boxes. Installation of new cables where none existed, and installation of new cord reels.
