Renovation of an educational facility in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 28,000-square-foot educational facility.
The Work contemplated in this document shall be for the Owner in connection with the Project described in the Project Manual. 28,100 SF roof replacement project, removal of existing EPDM roof membrane and insulation, to be replaced with a new TPO roof membrane with code required insulation Sawcut and remove portion of roof decking and associated plywood sheathing. Center saw cuts over supporting structural members, or as directed by structural engineer. Provide new structural T&G decking of similar grade and profile as existing. Provide new plywood sheathing overlay of similar thickness as removed. Fasten to decking as existing was fastened, or as directed by structural engineer. All bidders must comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law in ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870. No offer will be received or considered by Owner unless the offer contains a statement by the bidder as a part of the offer that states: "Contractor agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148." All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractor's Board at the time of bid submission. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders" upon the Bid form provided. UO encourages bids from Minority, Women, and Emerging Small Businesses. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids and to waive minor informalities.
