Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freehold, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be performed under this Contract consists ofthe construction a modern roundabout at the intersection of at County Route 8A (Locust Avenue / Valley Drive) and County Route 8B (Navesink Avenue) in the Township of Middletown. Proposed improvements require a staged construction to accommodate utility relocations and the construction of decorative street lighting; the widening of roadways to accommodate the roundabout approaches; removal of existing pavement, tree clearing, construction of full depth pavement, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, ADA compliant curb ramps, drainage improvements; milling and overlaying ofthe roadway; decorative brick pavement, topsoiling, fertilizing, seeding, landscape plantings, mulching; and roadway signing and striping; and any other incidental and necessary work shown on the construction Plans and as further described herein.
