To those who will bid will need to contact Gary directly at (715) 372-5256 LRIP project: Milling, patching/wedging, and resurfacing of approximately 1.28 miles of Scenic Drive beginning approximately 3452 ft East of Canthook Lake Road (at the end of 2023 rejuvenation work) continuing nominally ESE to the East end of the West Delta Road intersection with Scenic Drive. All patching, wedging, and pavement shall be 5MT hot mix asphalt (HMA). Patching, wedging and/or milling is required in approximately 13 locations in addition to the milling of the butt joints at each end and the intersection with West Delta Road. All milled material shall be delivered to the Delta Town Garage location for future use by the Town. -Patching shall be nominal 1-1/2" compressed thickness of 5MT HMA. Areas to be patched shall be swept and tack coated before patching. Once milling and patching is completed the complete segment shall be broomed/swept as necessary, tack coated and paved with a nominal 1.25" compressed thickness of 5MT HMA. The new pavement shall cover the complete width of the current pavement. All work shall be done in general technical compliance with current relevant Wisconsin DOT specifications. The work shall be completed by October 1, 2024 -Contractor is required to provide an engineer's certificate acceptable to WISDOT certifying the project meets a 10 year design life with the submittal of its invoice. The bid shall be compiled and presented as a lump sum for mobilization and demobilization; a lump sum for milling, hauling milled material, and cleanup; a unit rate per ton of 5MT HMA for wedging and patching and a unit rate per ton for the 5MT HMA topcoat overlay. An estimated total cost and quantity for each of the above two items and the whole job shall also be included. The bid shall also include additional optional prices for (1) 2 ft wide gravelling of the road shoulders for the project and (2) the price per ton and total tons per load for the provision and delivery of quad axle loads of asphalt patching material to the Delta Town Shop. Contractor's previous experience with Ultrathin hot mix asphalt mixing and paving shall be documented in their bid. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids and accept the bid it deems is most advantageous to the Town.
