Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Intersection Improvements at STH 158 (52nd Street) Intersection With 39th Avenue all in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. The project includes traffic signal improvements, concrete ADA ramps, curb & gutter, and pavement marking work Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the contract and performance bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The Department of Public Works is in partnership with Online. A fee of Twenty-Two Dollars ($22.00) will be charged once plans are downloaded. No fee is charged to view the plans. Pre-Qualification: Yes The form provided for "Bidder's Proof of Responsibility" shall be completed and returned to the Director of Engineering not less than five (5) days before the date of bid opening. Bidders can examine and obtain this form by going to: online or access the link to the "Bidder's Proof of Responsibility" form under "Permits, Forms and Applications". Bidders must comply with the requirements included in Section 5.001 of the Code of General Ordinances for the City of Kenosha regarding Protection In Public Bidding. This project is receiving funding through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Signals and ITS Standalone Program (SISP). The successful bidder shall be required to furnish Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance as enumerated in the specifications. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Kenosha.
