Site work for a water / sewer project in Burlington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Boone County Fiscal Court has indicated its desire to pursue the further extension of public water service in currently unserved areas of the County. This builds upon past projects to extend water service throughout the County. The County is funding the expansion project and has partnered with the Boone County Water District and the design team at RA Consultants to produce construction documents for the project. This Invitation to Bid is intended to identify a contractor to complete all facets of the construction of the desired water main lines. Question Submission Deadline: May 1, 2024, 5:00pm This project consists of the installation of approximately 1,340 LF of 4", 8,694 LF of 8" and 5,630 LF of 12" watermain and appurtenances, including all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. Late, hand delivered (paper), emailed or facsimile bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened online at the time listed above. A bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted (electronically) with each bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one- hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the state of Kentucky to provide said surety.
