Bituminous Seal Coating and Crack Sealing on various roads within Centre Township 14,058 SY Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion with an initial application of#8 stone with 1.0% loss by wash followed by a second application of#9 Stone with 1.2% loss by wash as per as per Pub. 447, Section MS-0340-000S. 39,794 SY Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion with a double application of#8 stone with 1.0% loss by wash as per Pub. 408, Section 470. 800 Gallons Bituminous Crack Sealing as directed, applied in place as per Pub. 408, Section 469. All materials must meet PennDOT Pub. 408 or Pub.447 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be online prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount often (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Centre Township. The successful bidder for the "2024 Bituminous Seal Coat Bid Proposal" will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Centre Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
