Site work and new construction of a residential development in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 930-square-foot residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City of Charleston, Department of Housing and Community Development is requesting proposals to complete construction activities at a single-story, Freedman- Cottage style house located at 380-B Race Street, Charleston, SC. The house is approximately 930 square feet in size. Bidding contractors must visit the site with a City of Charleston HCD construction manager, prior to bidding. The City of Charleston has the right to accept or refuse any or all bids deemed in the best interest of the City. Interested contractors must have a current South Carolina GC or Residential Builders License, Lead-based paint abatement certification, City of Charleston Business License, current contractor's liability and worker's compensation insurance, and appropriate work references. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required for this project. Additional information and bidding materials will be provided at the pre-bid meeting.
