Renovation of a mixed-use development in Home, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Description of Work: Work may be generally described as: 1. Classroom upgrades. Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Demolition, hazmat, cutting and patching. 2. Concrete, rough carpentry, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties and equipment. 3. Mechanical and electrical. 4. Sitework. Subcontractor Listing Estimated cost of Work is less than $1,000,000. Subcontractor list is not required. Apprenticeship Estimated cost of Work is less than $1,000,000. Apprenticeship participation is not required. Prevailing Wage: It is the responsibility of the bidder to go online to the L&I web page https://www.lni.wa.gov/licensing-permits/public-works-projects/prevailing-wage-rates/ to verify they have the most current prevailing wages at time of bid. Bid Bond: Accompany each Bid with a certified check, cashier's check, or surety company bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Base Bid. Make payable to Peninsula School District No. 401. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interests of the Owner. Withdraw of Bid: Bidders may not withdraw bids after time set for the Bid Opening, unless Award of Contract is delayed for a period of exceeding 45 days.
