Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newport, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work for This Project Will Generally Consist of Reconstructing Sanitary Sewer Manholes and Lateral Connections to the Sewer Main of Which Shall Include the Removal of the Existing Bituminous Pavement, Utility Excavation, Precast Concrete Manhole Installation, Sewer Mainline Modifications and Bituminous Paving. Ancillary Work Includes Concrete Flatwork, Concrete Curbing, Water Service Replacement, Boulevard Restoration and Erosion Control Items. The anticipated substantial completion date is 10/04/2024 and final completion date is 11/29/2024. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
